Join us Sundays, 10am HT in-person in our sanctuary, or live via our CCU FB page.

CCU worship could be described as traditional…with a twist. We like to draw on many different traditions and practices in order to come into God’s presence.

We follow a simple liturgy: you can expect some opening words and prayers, some music, a moment for kids, reading from scripture and an inspiring sermon which is both grounded in our Christian tradition and applicable to our lives today. We also share the sacrament of communion each week and invite everyone present (in-person and online) to partake.

Musically, we use lots of different genres to celebrate the good news. You’re likely to hear hymns and praise songs, world music and gospel selections, jazz and classical arrangements. You may hear an organ or piano, drum or guitar, even a trumpet or bango and often an offering from our CCU Ensemble.

We also offer periodic opportunities for worship outside Sunday morning. We see these as special opportunities to learn and practice alternative forms of prayer such as Taize chanting, silent meditation, or walking a labyrinth. We also worship together on special holidays such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and during the Advent season. Keep an eye on our events tab for more information about these opportunities.
